Nice to meet you!

My name is Brooklynn, and I am a follower of Jesus. I believe He is the Son of the only God, that He was born of the virgin Mary, and that He died on the cross for my sins so that I could be forgiven and be in Heaven with Him forever.

My stories flow from the heart of God, which I have come to know throughout my life. They are stories of second chances, friendship, found family, love, adventure, and purpose. My creativity comes from Him, and my life’s goal is to represent Him in everything I do.

I began writing my first book, Cirque when I was 17. I saw the brokenness of my friends and teenagers in my city and I wanted so bad for them to know that there was more to life than they thought. Out of that, Cirque was born.

I write authentic characters - they are messy and wonderful. I write to be understood by readers and non-readers alike. I write to help people see themselves and their stories from a different perspective.

I am also youth pastor and I live on the East Coast with my husband, Joshua, my son Langston, and our cuddly dog, Bishop.
